Engineering Installation Guidelines

The following guidelines are recommended for safe handling, stable installation, and long-term reliability of outdoor flexible LED modules. For engineering deployments, always follow appropriate ESD practices and avoid installation methods that compromise flatness or structural integrity.

  • ESD protection during assembly: Operators should wear anti-static gloves and follow standard ESD handling procedures.

  • Do not splash water onto the module: Do not use wet rags or moisture-containing objects for cleaning. For dust removal, use an anti-static soft-bristled brush.

  • Avoid excessive force on wiring: Do not tear or pull cables violently. When unplugging/plugging wires, pull gently to prevent damage to copper pillars and the PCB.

  • Use structurally reliable frames: Galvanized square pipes are not recommended because flatness cannot be guaranteed. Use engineered metalwork such as sprayed iron cabinets/frames where flatness is controlled.

  • For curved structures: Sprayed sheet-metal iron cabinets or curved frames are recommended for arc-shaped and cylindrical builds for easier installation and better flatness.

  • Respect bending limits: The bending angle range is approximately 158°–162°. Do not bend the module violently or repeatedly, and avoid forcing the module beyond design limits.
